Our group won a good result again in the second high score unmanned aerial vehicle intelligent perception technology competition

On August 25, 2018, the finals of the 2nd High Score Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Intelligent Perception Technology Competition were held on schedule in Fok Yingdong Stadium of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The competition attracted a total of 38 teams from 22 participating units including Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Beijing University of Technology, Northwest University of Technology, East China University of Technology and so on. Nearly 200 people entered the competition, including 5 companies and 33 universities and research institutes. After the selection of the preliminary online simulation competition, a total of 16 teams stood out and took part in the finals. The contest has attracted much attention from the fields of unmanned aerial vehicles, robots and artificial intelligence at home and abroad. Not only is the competition extremely difficult, but it also combines the comprehensive application capabilities of intelligent robot control, UAV flight control design, and core algorithms of positioning and navigation technology.

According to the performance of each team in the preliminaries, finals and presentation of the program, the competition will set up three individual prizes, including excellent technical program, simulation program and live program, and a comprehensive prize. Through the fierce competition in the finals, the kunpeng team, jointly directed by professor yang Wen and professor Xia guisong of captain research group, won the second place in the competition. At the same time, the design scheme won the excellent technical scheme award through the preliminary screening and on-site fierce defense.
